Experience the incredible manor house atmosphere at this large, listed farm in North Jutland, built in 1870 by the then owners of nearby Spøttrup Borg. Here you can enjoy an authentic experience in a house that exudes heritage with its charming stone details, beautiful garden and well-appointed rooms, while enjoying the protected nature of the Salling Peninsula, surrounded by heathland and the tranquillity of the sea. Here you get original style, unspoilt location and water to all edges.
Throughout the charming farm, you are greeted by charming and cosy surroundings that make it easy to feel like a welcome guest of Niels and Maren Breinholt in the heyday of the merchants in 1870. With 550 square metres, high ceilings and space for as many as 11 overnight guests in six beautifully furnished double rooms and a single room, it is an ideal place to invite the whole family.
There are also several cozy living rooms with antique furniture, two bathrooms and a cozy country kitchen with everything you need, as well as a rustic master bedroom that with its raw stone walls provides an atmospheric setting to gather. Connected to the farmhouse, there is also a 100 square meter terrace aptly named 'The View', where you can relax, barbecue and enjoy the sun and evenings while gazing out over the beautiful heath and tidal landscape to the Limfjord and Mors. The farm also has an outhouse with thatched roof, terrace with sea view and plenty of yard space.
On arrival at Ny Spøttrup, you will be welcomed by the caretaker, who will also give you a tour of the farm. Please note that there are two further single rooms in the attic - however, these are not insulated and are accessed by a steep staircase unsuitable for those with walking difficulties. Around the farm you will find meadows, ponds and a rich bird and animal life - deer, foxes and hares are frequent visitors to the large, beautiful garden. At the nearby Nymølle Harbour there is a bathing beach with a bridge and a small jetty for yachtsmen.

Highlights from Nis

- Here you are surrounded by protected nature and the beautiful sea
- The summer house is incredibly elegant and has many square meters
- The closest neighbour is nature, so privacy and peace are omnipresent
We have just taken over this old and protected farm in North Jutland. We are currently living in China, but we would like to come back to Denmark and live on the farm in the future. Our son is currently living in London and the place will be a gathering place for us when we are back in Denmark.
We have gone to great lengths to preserve the house to safeguard its heritage and the farm is now listed to preserve its national and architectural value - feel the historical wingbeat when you look at the impressive farmhouse and the boulder outbuildings, for example.
When we're here we love walking along the moor and beach. We spend a lot of time swimming at the very private beach, kayaking, paddleboarding, windsurfing or sailing at the Limfjorden. Spøttrup Borg, which has annual medieval markets, is also worth a visit. There are many good inns and fish restaurants on Salling or Mors if you want to eat out.
A stay at Ny Spøttrup Gård is also a good starting point for exciting experiences with excursions to the Hjerl Hede open-air museum, Jesperhus Flower Park, Skive Museum, Legoland or the Fossil and Molers Museum on Mors. You can also go exploring at the Snapsekongen Gudik Gudiksen in Rødding or at the local artists.
