Architect-designed A-house from 1918 in the most beautiful nature

Here you'll notice the sound of the sea and the lark singing. Here you will find peace. Outside Brüels Hus' atmospheric 129 m2, you are surrounded by the upcoming Nature National Park, Møn's best and almost completely undisturbed beach and idyllic meadows. Inside, the 50 m2 heart of the house awaits you with a kitchen, dining room, living room and wood-burning stove.
The large, fine A-house has been designated as worthy of preservation and is beautifully decorated with respect for history. It's a bit like being in a hunting lodge. Brüels Hus' large communal living area is centered around an old English fireplace (with wood-burning stove) and the kitchen, which has large windows with lots of light and views of the lake and salt marsh.
The cottage offers large rooms with plenty of sleeping space. On the ground floor there is a guest room with access to a covered terrace and a view of Ulvshale Forest. On the first floor, at one end is the large master bedroom with a view of the Baltic Sea. At the other end are two en suite bedrooms with two single beds and a sofa bed. From here you can also see directly into Ulvshale Forest, which is just a few meters from the house.
The terrace in front of the house is perfect for morning coffee, where you can enjoy the peace and quiet, the view and feel the sun's first morning rays on your face. On the large south-facing terrace, there is space for sitting and dining with sun from morning to evening. The house is surrounded by a lovely natural garden with lawn, trampoline and a small herb bed, which you are welcome to harvest from.
There is a rich wildlife around the house. Owls, deer, squirrels, hares, pheasants and woodpeckers regularly stop by. And if you provide fresh water in the bird bath, you can experience the finest birdlife in the garden.
The road opposite the cottage leads directly down to the beach meadow and the very best sandy beach. This is a great place to swim. The sea has azure blue tones, as at Møns Klint and to the south, and you almost have it all to yourself.

Highlights from Mike
Host since June 2021
- Unique and peaceful location on the Ulvshale peninsula, a designated Nature National Park
- Beautiful and preserved architect-designed house with original details, three wooden terraces and a lovely atmosphere
- A dream of a sandy beach lies at the end of the short forest road to the left of the house after salt marsh and lark song and a single row of dunes
We are a family from Copenhagen. We use the cottage to relax on vacations and weekends all year round. The house is located on Sandvejen, a two-kilometer-long gravel road along the coast with only 30 houses, more than half of which are worthy of preservation. Sandvejen is a living monument to the architectural history of the summer countryside, and the atmosphere is rounded by the special peaceful life of the coast. We enjoy the authentic rural idyll as much as we love the beauty and ubiquitous biodiversity of the area's nature.
We enjoy the tranquillity of the area and the daily walk, which in just half an hour takes you around untouched forest, salt marsh and beach with the most beautiful views. We also say hello to the sheep and goats that graze in the meadow opposite the house. It's hard to pick a few favorite areas near the cottage, because it's amazing to explore ancient peaceful forest with twisted trees and an undulating forest floor of flint stones. It's also great to wander out onto the beach meadows with sheep, goats, cows, wild horses and lots of birdlife. We cultivate the child-friendly sandy beach with very few people and immerse ourselves in fantastic stargazing in the middle of Dark Sky Park Møn.
The summer house is called Brüel House, named after the architect Rasmus Brüel (1870-1936). The house has been rebuilt several times before our time, but with careful steps we are in the process of returning the house to its original architecture based on architect Brüel's own drawing material, which hangs in the guest room. Read more about the history of the house at www.bruelhouse.dk.

The house was original, spacious and full of atmosphere. There was a beautiful view across the meadows to the water from the kitchen window and terrace and easy access from the house to the unique and fascinating Ulvshale Forest National Park.
