Our name is Marianne and Jørn Kristian. We have 5 children who thrive very well in this area, the winter season is absolutely fantastic with ski trails right outside the door. Staying in our cabin means active leisure time with cycling, skiing, fishing, swimming, hiking, summit hikes in the surrounding area and in Jotunheimen and close proximity to the Jostedalsbreen glacier, here you can visit Nigardsbreen. After an active day, it's wonderful to hunker down with a fire in the stove and enjoy a good meal, while taking in the views of the mountains and the beautiful village of Hafslo
Close to the cabin Lykkebu is Sogn ski center, where you can ski in/ski out. It is also possible to buy good food in the ski center, and there are several good places to eat close to the cabin! Close to the cabin you can go hiking to Molden, this is a nice hike and a peak you can go to all year round. After skiing or hiking, it's perfect to travel to Lustrabadet, which is 10 minutes from the cabin by car! If you want to swim in the sea, you can travel to the beautiful and charming village of Solvorn. You can check out the fish hatch by traveling down to Hafslovatnet to fish for trout.
If you want to see the glacier, it's a short distance to Jostedalsbreen, where you can enjoy the sight of the beautiful Nigardsbreen
