In a cosy and unspoilt area there is a nice yellow cottage with a lovely little annex. There is room for the whole family - big and small. The cottage is furnished with cosy flea finds with light and calm materials. In the living room there is a cosy alcove with sleeping space for one. When it rains, it is nice to lie inside the alcove and read a good book and hear the drops land outside on the terrace. There are plenty of deer to keep an eye on. In the living room there is also a lounge area, a wood burning stove for those cold evenings and then it is open to the lovely kitchen. Here, space has been made for a slapping bench and chairs around the dining table for those moments that can't be enjoyed outside. Sleeping accommodation is divided between a double bedroom and a baby cot, and the annex sleeps two adults in a double bed and two children in a set of single beds that are slightly narrower and shorter than standard. Outside, there is the finest large wooden terrace where you can both enjoy the shade of fine bamboo furniture in the covered area or have lunch under the parasol in the sun. Children and childlike souls can climb the climbing tree, from which you can peer across the grounds. The play tower, sandpit and swing set are a hit with the little ones, and for older children there's also a climbing wall and plenty of space for ball games and play. There are bikes in the shed, so you can pop to the bakery for your morning bread.

We are a family of four who love the peace and quiet that the cottage and the surrounding area can give us. Like so many people, we have a hectic everyday life, so when we need to slow down, we go to our little cottage and relax. We go for walks by the beautiful dike, the fine white sandy beach, skip stones and swim in the summer. We stay two minutes walk from the water, so no need to pack big for a beach trip. Otherwise we enjoy the garden where we have a large trampoline, big sandpit, play tower, petanque court, garden games and the perfect climbing tree. The beach is what we use most, but it's also really nice up at Gedesby Mill. There are lots of great flea markets and a playground for children. In summer we take our bikes along the dyke to the nearby roadside stalls, Bøtønaturpark, Gedser odde (Denmark's southernmost point), Drejergaarden flea market and Mejerigården. If we want to treat ourselves we go to Pomle Nakke Traktørsted. Sometimes we also drop in next door, where the local grill bar sells pizza, burgers and ice cream. The house is 50 m2 and situated on a 1200 m2 plot just over 200 metres from the beach.
