My name is Rikke. My family and I have had the summer house for a little over a year, and this is the first time we have owned a summer house. We actually bought it because we sold our house and had no place to live, so we've lived here for a while ourselves, and we know all about what it's like not only to vacation here, but also to live here. Today, we live only 15 minutes away from the cottage, so we still come here often.
We are nature lovers and love to explore together. In the area, we like to go for walks in Lille Vildmose, where you can occasionally spot moose. Watch the sunrise by the water, stand on paddleboards and otherwise just enjoy a good cup of coffee sitting on one of the benches by the water. We also recommend a trip to Øster Hurup, where you can get the best ice cream in North Jutland at Vaffelhuset. Or hop on the ferry to Hals and enjoy the many ice cream parlors, restaurants and shops.
