Summer houses both kids and grownups will love
Highlights and descriptions have been auto-translated from Danish
Next to Skagen's marina is a traditional Skagen house with a lovely private garden and the background sound of masts clanking. Here you live right in the heart of Skagen and have the town's many attractions within a short distance. Parking is available on site. The fisherman's house was built in 1870, but has been renovated and modernised. There is a lovely bright living room with soft furnishings and a well-equipped kitchen where family meals can be cooked. There are a total of six sleeping places, two of which are in the cottage's heated annex. From the first floor there is access to a balcony with a view of Bindebøll's beautiful fishing cottages. The garden is lovely, cosy and private as it is a little secluded. There are several terraces, and the wooden afternoon terrace can be sat on most of the day all year round. This is also where the outdoor shower is, if you need to take a bath under the open sky. In the cottage's new orangery you can sit out until late in the evening and enjoy the company by candlelight. The town's cosy pedestrian street and many tourist attractions are just around the corner and it is walking distance to both Sønderstrand and the beach at Damstederne.

Hi - my name is Susanne, and my husband Mikkel and I love Skagen. We live in Silkeborg and have three children together. Jakob at 22, Marie at 19 and together we have Caroline at 9. Both Mikkel and I have spent a lot of time in Skagen during our youth and we love the environment up there, which is why we bought this nice fisherman's house, which is located right in the heart of Skagen; directly at the yacht harbour and the pedestrian street. The cottage is our first and we love being able to put our own stamp on it, making it a personal and nice place to be. For us it feels like our second home. In the summer of 2021 we built the orangery in the garden, where we enjoy sitting in the evenings with the candles lit. For us, there are a lot of traditions associated with being in a holiday home. We always go down to the harbour, Susanne goes winter swimming in the cold months and we always sit on the terrace and look out at the fish warehouses. We love going to the beach in Vesterby - there are some stones here, but not many tourists. Sometimes we also go to the seesaw. Mikkel is a self-employed carpenter and although we always say we won't do anything when we're away, we always end up doing something in the house or garden anyway. Pets allowed by prior arrangement only Week 28 & 29 rented on a weekly basis only (Saturday to Saturday). NOTE - Chromecast only, i.e. TV only via own streaming services. Charging of electric car not allowed.
