Our names are Håkon and Karine and we live daily in Trondheim. We bought our dream plot on beautiful Stokkøya in 2015 and spent approximately three years designing the cabin in collaboration with the skilled architects from Fur Arkitekter. The cabin was completed in the summer of 2019 and is carefully placed in the surrounding landscape to take the best possible care of the rock formation that embraces the cabin. When we were about to start the actual construction, it was important for us to choose local craftsmen who know the terrain and climate well. Among other things, this has meant that the cabin has a cozy and comfortable outdoor space with a view of the Atlantic Ocean.
The combination of wild and beautiful nature, and being able to really find peace and quiet here, is something that means a lot to us - and being able to enjoy the beautiful view in all kinds of weather gives us an extra feeling of having a break here. At the cabin, we are close to both the sea and the mountains, which we use often. In the summer, we often visit Stokkøya Strandbar, where we are served delicious food and drink and enjoy days at the sea when the weather permits.

Get a full refund if you cancel up until 30 days before check-in.
You are free to cancel bookings within 48 hours after receiving a booking confirmation or until 30 days before the agreed time of arrival for a full refund. Until 14 days before the agreed time of arrival, you can cancel for a 50% refund. If you cancel less than 14 days before the agreed time of arrival you will not be refunded.
