Enjoy the Bali vibe in beautiful and peaceful Bøtø

Behind the tall grass and with a small lake as a neighbor is an atmospheric, newly built holiday home with the most beautiful garden, space for the children and a sense of peace and presence. The interior design has been created with lots of love and personality by the owners, who are also known from TV.

The holiday home exudes a seaside hotel atmosphere with a wonderful, exotic touch. The warm colors, natural materials and the cozy bamboo hanging chair make your shoulders slump as you enter the large kitchen-dining room. Here you can lounge on the soft sofas, drink a cup of tea and read a book while the children play in the play kitchen. Even though the cottage is newly built, the small, quirky quirks give the interior a sense of personality and creativity. In the kitchen, you'll find everything you need to invite the family for cozy dinners with laughter and good times around the dining table. In the dining room, light streams in through the large windows to the garden, and the living room can be opened up to invite the outdoors in.

The main house, named 'South Sea', offers three bedrooms: 'Farø' has a built-in bed with wardrobes, and the blue color creates a calm atmosphere where you can completely relax. The rooms 'Bali' and 'Bøtø' each have their own theme, where both the Indonesian and Danish holiday atmosphere is represented in the interior, knick-knacks and colors.

In 2023, a brand new and independent guesthouse - "Noret" - was completed as a tribute to the rust-red summer houses of the 1970s. But don't let the simple appearance fool you, the house is decorated with equal parts inspiration from Falster's old manor houses and Bali's nature-inspired wellness experiences. Perfect for family friends or grandparents, the guesthouse sleeps up to four, has a kitchenette, a luxurious bathroom with underfloor heating and an impressive sauna with garden views, origami ceiling and both traditional and infrared heat. Directly from the sauna, you'll find the outdoor bath with shower and cold water tub, set in an atmospheric rock garden surrounded by curved wooden walls.

In total, the two houses, which are connected by a wooden walkway, can accommodate up to eight overnight guests with the option of two extra beds to extend family dinners into the morning.

Outside, the large garden offers a sophisticated festival vibe: hammocks for G&Ts for the adults, a playground for the kids and the most delightful covered terrace for relaxing.

When your holiday is all about wellbeing, you can rinse off the salt water under the outdoor shower after a swim in the waves of the Baltic Sea, which offers white and child-friendly sandy beaches just 350 meters away.

Here there is room for the whole family to socialize and get close to each other, while at the same time retreating to the cozy little nooks and crannies.
