Summer houses both kids and grownups will love
129 m²
The architect-designed cottage, designed by Søren Cock-Clausen, has been renovated with the utmost care, and then furnished with the most beautiful Danish-designed furniture from the same period as the house. In total, the cottage consists of three different houses located on the plot. There is the main house, which is a typical 60's house, with a lovely large kitchen with dining area, two lovely bedrooms and a living room. Here you will find all the original details of the house - right down to the fine Arne Jacobsen door handles. The house is now once again a little time warp from the famous period in Danish design and architecture. Here you feel an atmosphere and personality that is hard to imitate.
From the original main house there is access to two charming wooden houses. The large one has a bedroom, a small kitchen and a living room. The annex also has a toilet and an outdoor shower, so you can take a bath in the open air. The small wooden house has a bed, a toilet and the best view of the surrounding nature. The summer house is perfect for the family who appreciates beautiful Danish design, nature and privacy. There is room for ten, but it is also a great place for four.
The garden is twice the size of the rest of the area's gardens, and the incredible views don't just disappear. The surrounding fields and nature areas are protected because of the fantastic view. The garden is sunny at all times of the day, and with swings and a sandpit, there's plenty of space for all members of the family to relax.

We are a Danish family consisting of two adults and two children, living in Brussels, Belgium. We are a bit obsessed - some would say very - with Danish design from the middle of the last century. However, our children don't always think teak and rosewood beat plastic.
We think the place is absolutely stunning and with only a 45-minute drive to Copenhagen, the rich, beautiful countryside. There are few places where there are such great opportunities for artistic experiences. It's not far to the Louisiana Museum, Kronborg Castle and combined with the many nature experiences. Wide sandy beaches. Hornbæk town also has a great selection of small local shops and restaurants, where you can pick up your morning bread or go for a pleasant stroll.

Super foot location in quiet area. Large garden with room to play for all ages. Cozy decor and super size; enough space and not too crowded. Would definitely recommend the cottage to others who want a break from the big city or just closer to nature and sea.
