My name is Rikke and I live in Copenhagen with my family. We have always come to beautiful Hornbæk and know the town and the area very well. We love to supplement life in the center of Copenhagen with a trip to the summer house, and Hornbæk has everything we like. Great beach and water, a cozy town with local shops, great places to eat and a lovely harbor. It's lively all year round, which means it's always great to go to a holiday home - even in the winter months.
We love nature, walking and cycling along the water or visiting the nearby plantations or the hills of Russia. We think Hornbæk has Denmark's most beautiful beach and the clearest water.
A visit to Gilleleje or Helsingør is always nice and otherwise we use Hornbæk town, where you can have a nice dinner at Hornbækhus or Hotel Villa Strand. In the summer, a mini golf tournament with friends or family followed by an ice cream at the harbor is a must.
