The fine whitewashed cottage in the woods was built in 1919, and is one of the cottages that helped to found the entire cottage area in Rørvig. The house exudes a special history, beautiful old details and warmth. It has been restored by the family themselves, and with zeal and care the atmosphere has remained intact. In the small house there is also a picture of a young Queen Margrethe being taught in the garden. Her drawing teacher lived in the house for a while, so drawing lessons could be held in the garden.
Inside, it's bright and cosy, and the neat latticed windows let nature in all the way to the breakfast table. Here you can enjoy coffee, homemade rolls and each other with a view of all the greenery. It's decorated with a calmness and a sense of style that allows you to slow down. In winter you can cosy up by the wood-burning stove, and summer gives you the opportunity to open all the windows and doors and let the scent of spruce, grass and nature waft in. There are three separate bedrooms and a large room on the 1st floor with a ceiling to the kip and a fantastic skylight.
The lovely grounds offer plenty of space for play and relaxation, and you are close to both woods and water. The garden is adventurously situated down to the plantation and has many little nooks and corners in which you can pass the time.

The garden is surrounded by a green paradise with a terrace and lawn bordering a wild forest.
The beautiful whitewashed house, cool and cosy in summer and warm and welcoming in winter.
The location is fantastic and not far from the cottage there is the most beautiful sandy beach.
We are Cathrine and Frederik, and together we have two lovely children. We fell in love with our lovely place in Rørvig quite impulsively. We went to visit Frederik's parents, and suddenly it was just there. We love the area, the nature and the peace up here, and come here ourselves whenever we can.
One of our favourite places is Rørvig Kro, which oozes cosiness and atmosphere. We also like to visit Galleri Brantebjerg with both art and café, and when nature is to be enjoyed to the full we take a walk to the Bird Sanctuary in Nakke or the lovely beach at the end of our road.
