My name is Dorthe and together with my family we have our little gem of a holiday home overlooking the Lammefjord. We fell in love with the cottage right away when we bought it 6-7 years ago. And ever since then, it has been our sanctuary where we go to enjoy nature, silence and each other. On a daily basis we live in Copenhagen.
We love the fine biodiversity in the area. Therefore, we have chosen to let large areas of the garden grow wild. You can therefore experience a rich animal and plant life on the plot.
The most special thing about the cottage is its location. The cottage is completely secluded at the end of a private gravel road, with an enchanting view of fields and the most beautiful hilly landscape.
When we are in the cottage we always go for walks on the many hiking trails in the area. Each walk has its own charm. The quiet and peaceful surroundings are perfect for relaxing and unwinding from the hardships of everyday life.
We also like to go on excursions to the cozy holiday town, Ordrup, which is not far from the cottage. Here you will find a grocery store, ice cream parlor, bathing jetty and a lovely child-friendly sandy beach.
