Luminous lanterns and dreamy days in Hundested

In Hundested lies a friendly cottage in a lively garden. Here you, the children and even the grandparents can have some quiet and happy moments whatever the season. There is room for fun in the enclosed garden in summer, while in winter you can snuggle up around the wood-burning stove in the cosy, homely decor. So just pack your bags and go, and this house will set the right holiday mood. In the open-plan living area off the kitchen, you can stay cosy even if one of you is cooking and the rest of the family is on the sofa. You can take some interesting reading down from the shelf in the living room and sit in the armchair in the light from the window or the flames from the wood-burning stove. You can also light candles and sit at the dining table around a board game as the evening wears on. Outside, you can enjoy the summer on one of the two terraces or watch what's growing in the raised beds. On the hottest days, you can also move your chairs under the apple trees and sit in the shade. In the evening, you can enjoy a barbecue on the terrace followed by a tournament on the petanque court. When it gets late and the dew has fallen, you can light the lanterns and settle in on the covered terrace, where green plants wind over your heads and create a particularly soothing atmosphere. In summer, take the paddleboard to the water and feel the waves under your feet, while in autumn, take the amber lanterns for long walks along the beach and see if you can find anything. You can also go to Lynæs and watch the windsurfers, while in Hundested you can visit the glass studio Glassmedjen on the harbour or get inspired in Galleri Liisberg. Every Saturday you can visit the lovely market in the village of Torup, where you can buy local vegetables for dinner. You can end the day by brewing a pot of coffee and taking it down to the water by the cottage to watch a lovely sunset.
