The large natural plot, surrounded by tall conifers, is buzzing with life and birdsong, with squirrels and rabbits often stopping by - and with the large and numerous windows, you can be part of nature both summer and winter. In spring, there are chicks in the little birdhouse right outside the window, and you can sit and watch the mother bird bring food to the chicks all day.
The living room, kitchen and family room are all in one, so you can be together all the time and still do different things. The kitchen is functional and meets basic cooking needs, and the dishwasher does the dishes after meals. There is also a fully automatic espresso machine with whole beans.
The cottage has a cute little bathroom with underfloor heating and a cozy room with a double bed. You can soak up the morning sun in the bedroom and watch the tall trees swaying in the wind. And from the smallest room in the house, with a 160cm pull-out bed, there is access to the terrace.

The wild garden on the large plot is buzzing with life, the squirrel that just happens to pass by in the tree outside the window and the many birds you rarely hear elsewhere
We are a family with two adults and two children who all love to be active. The summer house is our little gem, right outside the door is the forest, and there are so many beautiful trips both on the bike and in running/walking shoes. We make great use of the many different swimming opportunities around Syddjurs and are happy to share our experience.
We enjoy that there is always shelter on our large terrace and the large plot, which is wild at will, provides a wonderful biodiversity of flowers and wildlife.
We took over the cottage in May 2021 and have renovated it with respect for the original and decorated it with a mix of flea market finds and new.
On the walls hang our own photos from the area around the cottage, which we think gives the house a special soul.
In and around Ebeltoft there are plenty of delicious food spots, with everything from good coffee, beer/water, bread, food to unusual cream puffs.
We have lots of tips for fantastic experiences in the local area, which we would love to share.
