Our names are Tanja and Ole and we live in Haderslev with our four children. We dreamed of a summer house, and in 2020 we found this beautiful plot. We got a friend to design the brand new cottage for us, and we built most of it ourselves. The house is a sanctuary where we can gather as a family and let the peace settle in. After Tanja's parents passed away, the cottage has become a new gathering place where we can relax and just be, without having to think about laundry and everyday life. When you come home to your parents it's like being a child again - you can always just be. Our cottage gives us that feeling too.
We love long walks along the beach and visits to the forest overlooking the water. We also enjoy sitting on the terrace and looking out over the water while the children play round ball and football on the grass.
