We are Louise and Rasmus and together we have two children aged 14 and 11. We live in Aarhus and have had our summer house since spring 2021. We enjoy coming to our summer house, even if it's just for a weekend. It has a heart, room for creativity, play, children's laughter and pink drinks on the terrace. It's our free space and for us, a holiday home is something more simple living, different tableware and playing in the garden. We have decorated with lots of colors, flea market finds and heirlooms and each item is carefully selected with heart. The cottage is within walking distance to the beach, forest and town and we call it a city cottage.
In addition to going to the beach, we love to walk into Ebeltoft, where there is a vibrant city life with great places to eat and things to do. Our favorite place is Maltfabrikken, which is a creative hub for food, art, music, interior design and much more. The harbor is also a definite favorite. You get the best coffee at Aoife on the harbor and the best open sandwiches at Kjøbstaden. In addition, Ebeltoft farm brewery and Øer Gårdbutik are just a short drive away.
