I am Vibs, and my husband and I work daily in both Copenhagen and Aalborg. Our cottage in Svinkløv is our sanctuary in the middle of nature, close to the most beautiful forest and several lovely beaches. Our little Svinkløv is located in a quiet area surrounded by trees, a rich wildlife and tranquility. The cottage is a thatched little gem that we love to come to. Here we can go for long walks, morning swims from the beach and take a nap on the sofa on the terrace. In the fall and winter, we light up the wood stove, play games and go for walks in the plantation. There's plenty of game here, which we feed close to the house. This is where we find peace and relax.
The nature in Svinkløv Plantation is very special. A huge area with lots of opportunities for walking, mountain biking, horseback riding and of course: the most beautiful beaches. We especially use the beaches and the forest, depending on the season. When we have friends visiting we have lunch at Svinkløv Badehotel, buy fresh fish at Thorup Strand, salad and new potatoes and strawberries at Naturbruget in Tranum and grill delicious vegetables for dinner. There are lots of lovely roadside stalls in the area. In summer we pick wild raspberries, blackberries and collect mushrooms later in the year.
