We are a family of four who live in Amager and own this authentic holiday home. We had a desire to come back to beautiful Odsherred, where I, Anna, am from and where my husband spent many of his summers as a child. Here we can share our childhood memories with our children and create new memories together, and we enjoy that the house is only an hour from Copenhagen. Since we bought the cottage, we have put our own stamp on it - with great respect for the building style and soul of the house.
The cottage is our sanctuary with access to beautiful nature, including a lovely beach just a few minutes' walk from the house. The nature looks the same as when I lived there, but a lot more has happened - we keep discovering new cool initiatives such as the small micro bakery Sølt, which we have fallen in love with. We like to go to Rørvig harbor for ice cream, swing by Nykøbing for shopping and often stop by Lokalkompagniet, where you can get your hands on many local products such as delicious juices from Sidinge Frugtplantage. We also love to barbecue, and if we want to treat ourselves a little extra, we go to Nr. Asmindrup, where Helle has the best butcher shop in the area.
