The walls and ceilings are made of plywood, the floors are sanded concrete with beach stones, and the outside of the house is clad in Danish cedar. It's Nordic style - with a subtle touch of Japan - at its very best. The heart of the house is the living room, where the kitchen, dining room and lounge are all in one. It has 15-metre ceilings and three large sliding doors that give direct access to the sunny terrace wherever you are. Directly from the kitchen you can step out into the orangery of the house, where you can sit and enjoy yourself in the evening if it is a little chilly. As if the house's beautiful interior wasn't enough, the surroundings are just as stunning. The garden is lovely, green and feels completely uncluttered. With direct access from the bathroom, there's an outdoor shower where you can rinse off to the sound of birdsong and with a steaming hot cup of coffee waiting on the terrace. Take a cool morning dip in the sea, and finish off with - brace yourself - a dip in the garden's wood-heated sauna barrel. It doesn't get any better than this. Take a walk in the beautiful surroundings along Højbro Å, to the sheep at Heatherhill or to the lagoons at Vejby Strand. Take a bike ride to Troldeskoven or the stunning scenery of Tirbirke Bakker. There is so much nature to explore that any nature lover's heart will beat extra fast at the thought of this place. Take a trip to the town of Tisvilde, where you can drink a good cup of coffee and eat homemade cake at 'The Little Cafe'. Visit Rabarbergården in Holløse, where you can shop for dinner in their farm shop or enjoy a delicious lunch. On a hot summer day, there's nothing better than eating homemade ice cream at Gundekildegaard while enjoying the view over the fields.
