We are two generations, living in Sønderborg and Copenhagen respectively, who together bought the summer house to create a gathering place for our family. We love nature, cooking, reading, knitting and exploring Fanoe. We fell in love with the cottage the first time we saw it and before that we have been coming to Fanoe for many years for knitting festivals. Whatever the weather, we always take a long walk on the beach, go for walks in one of the many plantations and visit Sønderho and Nordby. We love to shop for food at the small local shops or eat at one of the good restaurants. The cottage is a 10-minute walk from Sønderho, one of Fanø's most charming places, with a small art museum, several good restaurants and a small local Brugs.
