Summer houses both kids and grownups will love
110 m²
On a 3500 square meter natural plot in the middle of the Mols Bjerge National Park, you'll find this fantastic log cabin built from whole 'laftetømmer' from the Norwegian forests. Here, unique nature surrounds the cozy house, where you can enjoy the idyllic view over Ebeltoft Vig and take a walk down to the beach.
The focal point of the cozy 120 square meter log house is the open-plan kitchen and dining area, which has recently been updated with a new stove and dishwasher. There's plenty of room for 6 people at the rustic dining table, but you can easily seat 10 people here. This room is home to the house's second wood-burning stove, which creates a cozy atmosphere, especially in the winter months when the snow is falling outside.
From the kitchen there is access to the house's east-facing terrace, where you can enjoy your morning coffee and the fantastic view of Ebeltoft Vig. If you light up the fire pits in the evening, the terrace is also great for a pre-dinner drink. The living room of the house has a soft sofa and a couple of lovely armchairs that you can sink into while warming up by one of the two wood-burning stoves. From the living room, you can access the main bedroom. There are also two smaller bedrooms, all with a calm atmosphere with their warm wooden colors from the beams and a cozy, simple decor.
From the living room, double doors lead out to a stunning southwest-facing terrace, where beautiful Skagerak garden furniture and sun loungers provide a great vantage point to watch the deer pass by in the unspoiled nature. There's also an outdoor kitchen with a gas grill and a small gas stove, so you can cook outdoors while watching nature - and there's also a lovely outdoor shower outside.
The house's spacious, cozy loft is ideal for children to play and have fun. Here you'll also find mattresses that fit nicely with the sun loungers outside. On the large natural plot, there is also a lovely fire pit where you can create lots of memories together under the starry sky in the glow of the flames.
In addition to Fuglsø Strand, the beach at Strands is only about five kilometers from the house and is also beautiful. It is well suited for families with small children as it is very shallow. Nearby Ebeltoft is one of Denmark's most idyllic villages with a wealth of museums and small, fine shops.

We are Niels and Lisbeth and have owned this beautiful, original Norwegian log house in Fuglsø on Mols for 30 years. The original house was built in 1965 and in 2004 we found the sawmill that once produced our summer house. With the help of an elderly Norwegian architect living here, we designed and "patched" the extension to the house. Over the years, we have decorated the house as a "real" cottage in country living style, and we enjoy the attention to detail.
Fuglsø is located in Mols Bjerge National Park, which is a unique natural area with many beautiful hiking trails. A short distance from the house - about one and a half kilometers - is Fuglsø beach with a jetty, views of Ebeltoft and the most beautiful water. We love visiting Fuglsø Bed & Breakfast, which in the summer often serves lunch in their small café, Café Fuglsø. Not far from the house is also Molskroen, where you can enjoy world-class food, and we also love the brasserie at Strandhotellet opposite Molskroen, which has a great menu. There is also a large ice cream parlor by the hotel, almost directly on the beach and with the most beautiful view of Ebeltoft town. Don't forget to visit the Frigate Jylland or the Danish Glass Museum.

Lovely rustic cottage with a great location and good views. The house is in a scenic location and it is possible to walk around the hills and down to the water. The only challenge was the heat, was there in the winter and it was not possible to heat the living room and kitchen properly,
