Highlights from Christina & Thomas
- Jump into the wilderness bath and feel the intense heat and well-being
- Enjoy the good space of the garden and its trees that surround you
- Relax in the living room in front of the stove with a hot cup of tea
Close to Kirke Helsinge Strand, you can jump into this lovely holiday home's delicious wilderness bath and be warmed right to your bones. The large garden gives you plenty of space and the opportunity to enjoy the tall trees and bushes, which also provide plenty of privacy. In the living room, you can enjoy a cup of tea and a fire in the wood-burning stove while you have a good chat. The décor has been designed to create a calm environment, with bright, earthy colours combined with wooden materials and bohemian touches throughout the cottage. The heart of the house is clearly the kitchen living room, where some can tinker with things at the dining table, while others cook delicious food, but where you are still in each other's company. From the living room, you can step out onto the terrace and relax in the lounge furniture while tucking into blankets. For extra cosiness, simply switch on the terrace's lantern. The garden is also a great place to catch a ray of sun while relaxing on the sunbeds or with a blanket laid out on the grass. When you feel like the sea, it's just a five-minute walk and you're on the beach.
Meet your host
Christina & Thomas
Host since January 2023
Our names are Christina and Thomas, and we live at Amager Strand. When the time is right, we love to visit our lovely cottage, especially with our three grown-up children. The summer house is a great contrast to life on Amager, as we have complete peace and quiet out here. We enjoy the silence of the cottage, to slow down and to be more present. When we are here, we enjoy walks to the beach and jumping off the jetty in the summer. The ice house at Mullerup Harbour is also a lovely walk, and otherwise there are plenty of good cycling routes in the area, including a trip out to Reersø, where there is a brewery and fish house.
