We are Helle & Torben and we bought the cottage in 2011. It is a place we care about. The place has good karma and you always feel comfortable here, so we take good care of it with ongoing renovations. Our three adult children also come here with their families. The house is in particular a family summer house that is used diligently. We all live in North Zealand, but are happy to travel to our sanctuary on Bornholm all year round.
We enjoy the hikes that the place offers us. We love walking around Hammershus and also use the coastal path near the house to visit towns like Allinge and Tejn. We are particularly keen to go to Allinge for shopping, a bite to eat and a cup of coffee before heading back home. We can recommend good eateries such as Ølstaun, Nordbornholms Røgeri, Le Port in Vang and not least Nordlandet. In the summer, it's buzzing at Gæstgiveren, where there are concerts throughout the season.
When we are on the cottage grounds, we are happy with our outdoor shower, which we use more than the indoor one all year round. You will always find a sunny terrace. And because the plot is sloping, we have built a viewing terrace at the top, where we sip drinks and take in the view in the summer. 400 meters down our road is the most beautiful beach that is used by both young and old.

Due to the fact that the accommodation is located on a mountain, it is recommended to take the car if you have physical limitations.
