The cottage is designed with high ceilings, unusual angles and a fantastic light that lets you follow the sky around the clock. There is room for play and creativity as well as peace and quiet in the spacious, bright surroundings: lose yourself in the sun and the starry sky with the telescope and solar binoculars, or develop your musical skills on the house's guitars, bass and bongo drums.
The heart of the house is the kitchen-dining room with comfortable furniture, large glass windows and an alcove where you can relax with a book or make a home theater. Help yourself to herbs from the herb garden outside the well-equipped kitchen and enjoy your evening meal around the long dining table. Below you, the underfloor heating will warm your feet, and above you, you can enjoy the sea view from one of the lofts or crawl into the sleeping loft. The cottage is well equipped with games and toys for indoor and outdoor use.
Large glass doors lead you out onto the wooden terrace, where you'll find sheltered nooks and coffee spots in the sun between built-in flower beds. We are a married couple who have designed and built our dream summer house, characterized by our passion for astronomy, space and light. We love traveling, enjoying the beach and sea, cooking good food, playing and listening to music and being out in nature in every way. We want to give our guests the best experience and are happy to help with local tips and questions about the house, the area, Møn as a Dark Sky area and the house's astronomical telescopes.
Our cottage is located in the first row to the water at child-friendly Råbylille Strand. We like to wake up to the sound of waves and greet the deer that occasionally come to eat berries and flowers. We also love exploring the amazing night sky with planets, stars and galaxies with the house's binoculars.
Along the waterfront is a path that's perfect for walking or jogging. You can also follow the path to Møn Is, an organic visitor farm with delicious ice cream and local specialties, where children can play in the straw bales or pet a calf. In the summer months you can pick up fresh bread, rent bicycles or have a nice dinner at Egn, which is within walking distance from the cottage. Nyord, Hårbølle Harbor and Klintholm Harbor with the gourmet restaurant ND122 are also all worth a visit. In the cottage there is information, maps and leaflets with information about exciting trips and about the area and the whole of Møn.
