Taste

Indulging in the little pleasures of life is what summer is all about. And charming eateries, delicious pastries, a beautiful lunch by the sea and a gorgeous morning brew is no exception. Here are some of our favourites on Mols.

  • Ebeltoft Gårdbryggeri is a charming, family-owned brewery dedicated to creating delightful sodas and flavorful beers. Everything is produced using local ingredients and with meticulous attention to detail in every brew. The brewery is situated in one of Denmark's most captivating locations, offering stunning views over the water and Jernhatten. The farm's bottle shop is open from Monday to Saturday, 11 AM to 7 PM.

Duo Bageri

  • Close to Aarhus Airport lies Duo Bageri, a small bakery with a keen sense of detail and flavour. It’s run by sourdough experts Lasse Tronhjem from La Cabra Bakery in Aarhus and Simon Jensen from Flere Fugle in Copenhagen, who joined forces to open Duo Bageri in Feldballe in March 2024. The bakery is minimalist and beautifully decorated, just like their experimental pastries. Their lemon poppy seed pastry is especially noted as a little piece of heaven. Drop by when you’re hiking in the beautiful Mols Bjerge or pick up bread for your holiday home breakfast with loved ones.

  • Langhoff & Juul Restaurant is the place to visit if you view sustainability and quality as paramount. For Langhoff & Juul, local ingredients mean sustainability – the core of their kitchen is using as many local and seasonal ingredients as possible, and the restaurant is furnished with the finest attention to detail.

  • Ebeltoft Strandbar is a small oasis in the sand right by Ebeltoft harbour and with a gorgeous view of the water. The place is decorated with string lights for late summer evenings, and the two bars, where you can buy delicious drinks, wine, and sodas, evoke thoughts of warmer climates with its exotic details.

  • After enjoying a day at Femmøller Strand, the little red stand called Molsboden offers cold drinks from Ebeltoft Gårdbryggeri, juicy burgers, and ice cream from Hansens Is.

Molsboden and Fisken

  • Behind two large red doors at Ebeltoft harbour, you’ll find Fisken. Here, you can order an impressive serving of fish and chips to enjoy at your holiday home or at one of the charming tables further down the harbour. And don’t forget to try their homemade pea dip – “it just goes so well with it,” as the friendly staff explained. Wash it all down with a wildflower IPA or a mint lime soda from the local farm brewery.
