When you need to experience an authentic island atmosphere where the simple life can be lived, Fiskermandens Hus from 1895 on Fejø is the right place for you. The house is large and cozy with vintage furniture. Soul and charm are evident throughout the house, with exposed wooden beams in the ceiling and teak windows that let in the light with their large panes.
In the living room, there is also a long table in raw wood where you can gather around the food while listening to the wood-burning stove crackling in the background.
Fejø is known for being an island with plenty of opportunities to buy homemade cider, which you
enjoy with your food. The living room is connected to the kitchen, where there are old, cream-colored tiles and a retro kitchen cabinet. This way, you'll always be in each other's presence, even if you're cooking separately.
From the cottage you can look out to Fejø Dybvighavn and the Baltic Sea, which is only a three-minute walk away.
In the morning, you can drink coffee on the wooden deck and enjoy the sight of boats sailing into port. When you want to explore even more of Fejø, you can borrow the bikes that belong to the cottage. An obvious excursion could be
cycling to Vesterled Frugtplantage, which is known for growing apples, pears and plums.

The cottage is originally an old fisherman's house from 1895, which has been carefully renovated
Explore the apple island of Fejø on bikes that belong to the house.
Enjoy jams, cider and island wine or fire up the oven for cozy.
The story of us and Fejø is a love story. The many orchards that turn the juices into the finest cider, gardens without fences and free-range chickens, neighbors who say hello and, not least, the sea that is always within cycling distance.
In the summer of 2022, we bought the Fisherman's House from 1895, which is slowly and gently being awakened from its hibernation. Coziness has been paramount since we bought the house. It is important to us that you will feel at home in our perfect imperfect gem.
