Stunning, traditional log cabin in Dovrefjell

Embraced by the beautiful mountain landscape of Dovrefjell, with 400 m to the nearest cabin neighbour, this beautiful, traditional log cabin with grass on the roof is located and has roots far back in Norwegian cabin tradition. When you arrive at the cabin, you have to walk the last 350 m on a path, which makes the experience of being in the mountains extra special. There is plenty of space here to take the whole family or group of friends on a trip.

When you enter the cabin, it almost feels like traveling back in time. Here you are greeted by the warm, homely atmosphere, with traditional furniture and color scheme, untreated wood, beams in the ceiling, an atmospheric fireplace and get to experience the traditional Norwegian outdoor space. The cabin nevertheless has beautiful, modern references and this combination makes it an experience in itself.

The area around the cabin offers many great nature experiences for young and old, where both cycling, fishing, swimming and mountain walks are within immediate reach. When you come home from a trip, but still want to enjoy the fresh mountain air, you can enjoy yourself together on the charming terrace with a good cup of coffee while the children play. There are also many cozy places to settle down with a good book or relax a bit.

The annex, with bunk beds and its own sofa corner, is perfect for the family's teenagers, or others who want to retreat a bit with a good book after a long day together, before you gather again to cook in the beautiful red-painted kitchen. The dining table invites long conversations, board games and cozy breakfasts. The cabin's toilet is an outdoor toilet in the best cabin style. There is no water supply in winter, but in summer there is water heated with gas.
