My name is Janni.
My family and I have this lovely holiday home, 'Schubben' from 1973. We took it over in July 2021 and love the feeling of happiness, freedom and silence we get in the house. Here is room for cozy and family time, and it is especially the originality of the 70s house that appeals to us - we think it gives a very special coziness. We spend a lot of time in the living room and kitchen, where we enjoy the warmth and sounds of the wood-burning stove.
Our favorite areas at the cottage are the fantastic beach, which is located on the east coast and the forests around Hou, where it is great to enjoy nature.
At the beach, we saw 'Black Sun' several times this summer, we saw a pair of spoonbills and lots of other birdlife.
In our own 'garden' we experience fallow deer, squirrels, lots of bird life and occasionally even have a visit from a Green Woodpecker.
The cottage is located about 900 m from the finest beach, close to a small cozy marina, with ice cream shop and where there are often flea markets during the summer season.
