The charming 70s cottage has two cozy bedrooms and the decor is personalized with fine finds and retro furniture in the spirit of the house. The spacious dining table is perfect for hours of board game fun in the cold months while the warm fire from the wood-burning stove crackles.

In summer, the beautiful maguerite furniture on the terrace invites you to relax and enjoy a barbecue dinner in the evening sun or a peaceful morning coffee to the sound of birdsong and the scent of summer flowers in the quiet, idyllic garden. You might even be lucky enough to spot the squirrel scampering up the tree or the deer passing by in the early morning mist.

There's also plenty of opportunity to build a fire by the fire pit, go for a ride on the cottage bikes or play a game of kings in the large garden where there's plenty of space.

Hi there!

My name is Janni.

My family and I have this lovely holiday home, 'Schubben' from 1973. We took it over in July 2021 and love the feeling of happiness, freedom and silence we get in the house. There's room for fun and family time, and it's especially the originality of the 70s house that appeals to us - we think it gives a very special coziness. We spend a lot of time in the living room and kitchen, where we enjoy the warmth and sounds of the wood-burning stove.

Our favorite parts of the cottage are the fantastic beach, which is located on the east coast and the forests around Hou, where it's great to enjoy nature.

At the beach, we saw 'Black Sun' several times this summer, we saw a pair of storks and lots of other bird life.

In our own 'garden' we see fallow deer, squirrels, lots of birdlife and sometimes even a Green Woodpecker.

The cottage is located about 900 meters from the finest beach, close to a small cozy marina with an ice cream shop and where there are often flea markets during the summer season.
