The summer house has an unbeatable location with 150 degree views south over the Kattegat to the east coast of Jutland, Thunø, Samsø and Storebælt. Here you are only 50 from the sea, and private from neighbors and tourists.
The house has two separate sections. The older part of the house is decorated in cottage style with beautiful wallpaper and old restored furniture. This part consists of a living room where you can light up the wood stove and enjoy the sea view.
The newer section contains the heart of the house, which is a large kitchen area with a well-equipped kitchen.
Here there is a cosy corner with TV and a dining table with plenty of space for house guests. There is a charming alcove and loft where toys can be found. The view can be enjoyed through the large panoramic windows and can be opened to the 100 m2 terrace facing the sea. The entire new unit is heated with underfloor heating. The master bedroom also has panoramic windows with sea views.
At the back of the house there is a terrace with a lounge area, in case the sun or the wind from the sea calls for shelter elsewhere. The south-facing terrace of the house is 100 m2 with an integrated sandpit, dining table and lounge furniture, while the garden invites you to play.
The house is particularly suitable for two 2 families, as there are 2 separate compartments.
From the house you can follow a private path to the water through a beach meadow with reeds and willow bushes. The water invites for a swim (just remember bathing shoes) paddleboard, kayak or similar. The summer house area is part of the Mols Bjerge National Park and nature is freely accessible to all sides. You can walk along the beach in a nature that includes both beach meadow, forest, heath and farmland.

We, Karen and Hans Jørgen, fell in love with our beautiful cottage gem back in 2015. It's a large house of 145 m2, half of which we built ourselves, in close collaboration with local craftsmen. We renovated the old part of the house in seaside hotel style and the house is decorated with a mix of new and beautiful old flea market finds. Even the porcelain is from the Royal Porcelain Factory and found in private collections across the country.
The house is ideal for 1-2 families, or several generations with or without children. There are swings, trampoline, sandpit, highchairs, camping bed, pram, fire pit, barbecue, garden games, etc. However, pets are not welcome.
Life in and around the cottage offers a lot of opportunities. We love summer evenings on the terrace with a roaring fire and a glass of chilled white wine while enjoying the sunset over the sea. We like to pack a backpack with packed lunches and walk along the water to places like Ebeltoft. In Ebeltoft you can pick up freshly caught fish from the cutter, Margrethe, which brings the catch in the morning to the cozy harbor. The town with its cobbled streets is a cozy commercial town with plenty of shopping opportunities, cafés and good restaurants. There are great opportunities for cycling, both on the small roads across Mols and on the mountain bike track just a few kilometers from our cottage.

Our experience of Karen and Jørgen's cottage was really good. It is definitely a cottage we would recommend to other families - especially if there are small children. It worked really well that the cottage was divided into two parts with the large living room and the fireplace room. When there are a lot of people, it's good to have an extra living room if someone wants to watch loud TV while the rest of us are reading or knitting in the big living room. Finally, it was great that we could walk directly from the garden down to the water. The location is magical.
