We are a family of two adults and three children, and we use our lovely cottage on weekends and vacations to get a much-needed break from everyday life in Copenhagen. We love the large natural plot, the silence, the wildlife (birds, squirrels, pheasants, deer, etc.) and not least the lovely beach, which is only 200 meters from the house. We swim here all year round.
We also love to go for walks in Veddinge Bakker - a fantastic area with beautiful, wild nature. There are also many good, hilly cycling routes in the area, which we also use frequently. If we feel like ice cream, we head to the small, cozy village of Ordrup, while Kårup Skov is also worth a visit if you want to go mushroom hunting.
