You will immediately notice an overriding focus on the traditional and cozy cottage life. Here there is room to just be. To relax and unwind. Light up the wood-burning stove, read a good crime novel, play Bezzerwizzer with the family or let yourself be captivated by the beautiful sea view.
If you want to explore the island and the surrounding area, hop on one of the many bikes in the house. Drive down to the harbor and buy fresh fish to take home for lunch. Enjoy an ice cream at the harbor's ice cream parlor or take a trip to the north coast, which has a lovely child-friendly sandy beach for a nice evening swim. Or you can enjoy the peace and quiet - interrupted only by the gentle roar of the sea - on the large south-facing terrace, which is well sheltered behind the house. End the day with a rinse in the outdoor shower as the sun sets. It doesn't get any better than right here on fantastic Reersø.

My name is Inge and I live in Copenhagen. Unfortunately, I lost my husband and am now alone. But 22 years ago, my husband and I took over this beautiful holiday home, which has since then formed the setting for a lot of fantastic memories in our family. We have very much enjoyed being able to drive to Reersø in West Zealand. Here there is a different calm than in the city and the sky is high, rich in birds and fauna. We've always been active in the scenic surroundings of the island, hiking or cycling around the island. From the house there is a lovely view of the water, no neighbors only open fields and a unique "Sound of silence". The beach in front of the house is a pebble beach, but a few kilometers away, there is a good sandy beach where we have often swum with our children and grandchildren.

Lovely cottage in beautiful nature. Located scenic and nicely isolated, which was what we dreamed of. Close to pebble beach and good walking routes. Plenty of space and a good house! Good host, with suggestions for activities in the area and generally on top of things. Only complaint is that the fridge is very small compared to the fact that the nearest grocery store is 20-25 min away. We would love to visit Inge's house again.
