Explore the countryside on two wheels from our charming holiday homes
Lakes, forests, endless fields and eternal green - Mecklenburg is famous for its lake district and proximity to the Baltic Sea and is suitable for nature-loving sportsmen and quiet landscape lovers. In Ulla's and Daniel's house in solitude you can come to rest, walk in the nearby forest or go swimming in the lake around the corner.
The wild garden with old fruit trees has its own charm and the terrace with dining table and barbecue invites you to spend pleasant hours outdoors.
The house is bright and friendly, the two have designed it with a lot of love and selected colors, built much of the furniture from light pine wood themselves and put it through its paces with their children for a family vacation. Of course, the dog comes with them on vacation. You will have a lot of fun exploring the beautiful surroundings from the house - either on foot or by bike.
The house can accommodate up to four people if you use the sofa bed in the living room, and the two fireplaces provide extra Scandinavian hygge feeling.
A Tourism Fee is a mandatory fee that you have to pay when visiting certain tourism areas in Germany. The fee is not included in the price because it depends on where you stay, how many nights you stay, how old you are and if you’re bringing your dog. The fee varies between €0 and €4 per adult per night and should be settled with the host upon arrival.

We are Ulla and Daniel and our vacation home is the feel-good place for us and our children. We both work and live in the city. On weekends, we are drawn to the countryside, where Daniel can enjoy being a hobby carpenter and Ulla can realize herself in the garden (she has the green thumb of the two of us).
We sometimes joke and say the house is "almost-on-the-lake" because it's only a 15-minute walk to Lake Plather. We love to walk the loop trail to the lake with our dog and jump off the dock right into the water. Daniel built a lot of the furniture himself and in the house we spend a lot of time cooking together and in front of the fireplace in the living room. But our relaxation highlight is the bathtub in front of the Swedish wood-burning stove - this is where the Scandinavian vacation feeling really comes alive.
