We use it both on weekends when we need to de-stress and get out of the city and get complete peace and quiet, but we also spend many longer vacations out there with excursions and visits from family and friends.
We enjoy walks in the area, a boat trip on Karlsø, a day trip to Them, where there are the most beautiful farm shops and dairy, and also day trips to Brædstrup and Silkeborg.
