Our names are Marianne and Jørn Kristian. We have 5 children who thrive very well in this area, the winter season is absolutely fantastic with ski slopes right outside the door. Staying in our cabin means active leisure time with cycling, skiing, fishing, swimming, hiking, summit tours in the surrounding area and in Jotunheimen and the proximity to Jostedalsbreen, where you can visit Nigardsbreen. After an active day, it's great to sit back with a fire in the oven and enjoy a good meal, while enjoying the view of the mountains and the beautiful village of Hafslo
Just next to Lykkebu cabin is Sogn ski center, where there is ski-in/ski-out. It is also possible to buy good food in the ski center, and close to the cabin there are several good places to eat! Close to the cabin you can hike to Molden, this is a nice hike and a peak you can walk on all year round. After skiing or hiking, it's perfect to travel to Lustrabadet, which is 10 minutes from the cabin by car! If you want to swim in the sea, you can travel to the beautiful and charming village of Solvorn. You can check out the fishing opportunities by traveling down to Hafslovatnet to fish for trout.
If you want to see the glacier, it's a short trip to Jostedalsbreen, where you can enjoy the sight of the beautiful Nigardsbreen
