Our names are Jennifer and Michael, and we live in Copenhagen with our three lovely children. Jennifer grew up on Omø and her parents still live there. It was therefore natural for us to find a holiday home on the island where we can forget everyday life and relax together as a family. We love getting on the ferry and letting the calmness sink in on the trip over, and it feels like traveling back in time because the island's ponds and old farmhouses are well preserved.
We especially love the nature on Omø and our goal is to walk the 14 kilometers around the island every year. The walk is filled with rare plants and bird species, and you may be lucky enough to see beautiful bird migrations, seals and porpoises. Here on the island there is always a great atmosphere and a cozy little community. Taste the local fish or just enjoy the peace and quiet for a while.
