Traditional thatched house with modern accents on Schwansen

Between the Baltic Sea and the Schlei, on the Schwansen peninsula, lies Nina and Kersten's thatched-roof house, which was built around 1730 and renovated in 2014 and furnished with two vacation apartments. Traditional building elements were preserved and combined with modern equipment and lovingly selected furniture. Each room has its own color scheme and therefore an individual character.

The large open-plan living room with wooden floorboards houses a well-equipped kitchen with dining table and a cozy sofa corner. Even in winter and in bad weather, a wood-burning stove provides cozy warmth throughout the house. On the upper floor, the apartment has three bedrooms, each with a 160x200 cm double bed. On request, 1-2 cribs or additional mattresses can be provided.

The modernized bathroom is equipped with a large bathtub and a sauna where you can relax and unwind.

There is also a lounge area in the loft, which is particularly popular with children. While enjoying a morning cup of coffee on the spacious veranda, you can gaze out over the extensive garden with its mature trees.

The house is a perfect starting point for numerous cycling tours.

The small village of Kopperby is only 3 km away and is located directly on the Schlei. The Baltic Sea can also be reached by bike. Enjoy long summer days by the sea - either on the beach at Schönhagen, 5 km away, or on a walk along the nearby cliffs.
