The holiday home was newly built in 2018 and a lot of love has been put into the personalized interior design. In the large kitchen family room, conversations can flow freely while the children play around and there's plenty of space for peace and quiet in front of the sparks from the wood-burning stove when darkness falls. There's sleeping space for everyone, with two bedrooms, a loft and two annexes where you can retreat and enjoy some time to yourself.
In the private, lush garden you'll find everything you need for fun family activities. Kids can play, swing, jump on the trampoline, pick berries and play ball in the garden, while the adults fire up the barbecue, enjoy a nice glass of wine and prepare food in the outdoor kitchen on the terrace. You'll also find bikes if the day calls for an excursion in the local area.
If you have the time and inclination, you can take a walk in the Bird Sanctuary, visit Dragsholm Castle, buy locally produced wine at Ørnberg Vinplantage and delicious organic produce at Birkemosegaard, or visit some of the local antique and flea markets.
In the winter months, the cottage is best suited for 6 guests, whereas in the summer months it can accommodate up to 8 guests.

My name is Kristian and I live in Copenhagen with my family. My mother bought Mariannelund 20 years ago and it has always been a gathering place for my siblings and me. In 2018, we tore down the old house and built our beautiful new house.
We love going on excursions to the many lovely beaches in the area around Nyrup and Rørvig. We have a tradition of going to Rørvig Harbor to catch crabs and eat fish'n'chips and also to visit Sommerland Sjælland. We also recommend a trip to Nygaard, where you can enjoy homemade pastries, see the animals and pick cherries when they are in season.
