The kitchen is large and equipped with a 2.7-meter-long table, made from a single piece of wood from an old pine tree. Boating, fishing, swimming, cabin building and playing with neighbors or visiting relatives have characterized my summers. In 2004, my wife Anita and I inherited the cabin from my mother and father, while my sister took over the boathouse and the plot where they built a new neighboring cabin in 2003.
