We, Helena and Anton, have fulfilled our dream with this dreamy thatched cottage—a retreat in nature, within easy reach of the city. We wanted to escape the city on weekends and enjoy nature and tranquility, walking in the fields and on the beach and relaxing.
The house has two halves, one of which can be rented here (the other half of the house may be occupied by other guests).
The old farmhouse is not far from the North Sea, and the nearest ferry terminal offers great destinations for day trips. We enjoy visiting the North Frisian Islands or even traveling up to Denmark to enjoy the heathland and sandy beaches of Römö.
There is sleeping accommodation for 2 adults. The village offers everything your heart desires and everything you need for everyday life!
We like to relax in the house, cook, read, and unwind. The kitchen doesn't have a dishwasher or a fully automatic coffee machine – but on vacation, you have enough time to make yourself a coffee in a mocha pot or French press! We are particularly fond of the large garden with tall, old trees that rustle beautifully in the wind. From the reading corner in the bedroom, you have a wonderful view of the garden, and from the living room and the bed, you can see the fields behind it.
