We are a family consisting of Mette, Thomas and our three big girls. We fell in love with the lovely cottage area near Tinkerup Strand west of Gilleleje, which led us to buy a plot in 2020 with a house ready in 2022. We love coming up here and enjoying our garden where insects and animals visit from time to time, being creative in the pottery workshop or just relaxing inside the cottage or in the hot tub.
In addition, we often visit the beach and Gilberg Hoved, which is a beautiful and large nature area. The Søren Kirkegaard trail is also a lovely hiking route of 12 kilometers in total, as it follows hilly, small paths along the water and ends at Nakkehovede lighthouse. Via the trail you can walk 3 km along the coast to visit Gilleleje. If you want to go to the beach, you only have to walk 500 meters.
At Tinkerup Strand is Kystgården, a cozy café where you can enjoy a nice lunch or a glass of wine overlooking the Kattegat. In addition, Gilleleje is always great to visit, where harbor and café life meet in one.
