We are a family from Nørrebro with three lovely boys and a dog. We love to spend as much time as possible in our summer house. It's our sanctuary from the noise and cars, and on Odden the sun is always shining - or at least it almost feels that way. We love that the cottage has everything we need and more.

We are only the second owners after the previous owner, who bought a piece of land from the local farmer with her husband. She took good care of the cottage for 50 years, and when we got to know her through a neighbor, we kept the conversation going about buying it when she wanted to sell. After 5 years, it was finally ours. The house needed a loving hand and we completely renovated it according to our needs, including an extension. The goal was always to preserve the soul and atmosphere of the original architect-designed wooden house from the 60s, just in a more updated and family-friendly version.

We love going to the beach for swimming or long walks along the water. We also often visit Nygården, which is a lovely farm with a farm shop and café where the kids can play and meet the animals. We also often go to Odden Harbor and fish or to Rørvig (15 minutes by car) and catch crabs. We're rarely in the cottage without stopping by Odden Fisk, where we buy fresh catch and delicacies for lunch.
