Welcome to 'Dalarstuen' - a historic cottage surrounded by beautiful nature and just a short stroll from an idyllic sandy beach. This gem offers a time travel back to the 1940s with its original plank floors and mullioned windows that create an atmospheric setting for your stay.
Inside, a warm and inviting atmosphere awaits you with two en-suite living rooms, a carpenter's kitchen, and a walk-in closet filled with board games and nostalgia from 60s Donald Duck magazines. Each room tells its own story, and from the dining room there is access to the covered terrace. The house was built by a Swedish couple from Dalarna in Sweden - hence the name of the house. The woman was an artist and spent her time in the house hand-decorating furniture and other interiors, as well as creating the unique paper cuts with motifs from Dalarna that still adorn the walls of the dining room today.
Outside, the large garden awaits with its majestic birch tree, a trampoline and swing set for play, and the fire pit invites you to gather around the fire. The courtyard garden on the other side of the house invites you to relax and dine in the evening sun. Nature is always close by - with birdsong, squirrels and deer as regular guests.
The beach awaits with its pebbles and lagoons, while nearby Hyllingebjerg beach offers magnificent views and adventure. Hello, I am the third generation to have the pleasure of calling 'Dalarstuen' our family home. My grandparents bought this beautiful house and it has been the center of many happy times. Together with Sofie and our children, Otto and Solvej, we spend a lot of time here and strive to preserve the unique spirit of the house. In our everyday life, art and music are important to us, and we value nature and ecology, which is also reflected in our life here in Liseleje.
