I am Ramona and I am in charge of some rural vacation homes in the northeastern part of Schleswig-Holstein between the fjord, Flensburg and the Schlei. As a mediator, the vacation homes I look after are a matter of the heart to me, as well as to their owners. So I also have the great fortune to manage this beautiful thatched house for Fabian and Martin.
Fabian spent many of his vacations as a child in the historic house from the 1850s, as it belonged to friends of his family. Then in 2010, he decided to take over the thatched house and property with friend Martin. Since then, the two have extensively renovated the house, paying special attention to the preservation and careful restoration of the stylistic elements, which are up to 170 years old. Elaborately and lovingly, the smaller part of the house, the former stable, was transformed into a bright, very comfortable vacation home. The surrounding landscape of the Angeln peninsula and the natural plot on which the house is located are particularly beautiful. The mill stream borders the property and the garden with its large orchard of apple and pear trees is a wonderful place to relax in the gently rolling landscape along the Baltic coast.
