The house has been renovated from top to bottom in a beautiful and calm style that will quickly make you feel at home. The Nordic style with many warm, earthy colors and natural materials creates a nice balance between the indoor and outdoor spaces, as well as a calm and subdued atmosphere. The underfloor heating throughout the house means you can walk around as usual without slippers and the "cold cottage" feeling. The large, slatted windows create an authentic farmhouse atmosphere while welcoming the light. The kitchen family room creates a space for togetherness and cozy moments, where the wood-burning stove is placed so you can enjoy the warmth and crackling sounds whether you're snuggling on the sofa or playing games at the dining table. Furthermore, the house offers an activity room, two bathrooms and three bedrooms, so there's plenty of space to spread out. The campsite's open-air swimming pool close to the cottage is also great entertainment for the kids, as well as the swimming lake in the orchard for free play. If you're not in the mood to whip up a meal, the restaurant Havtorn and the grill at the campsite are good places to eat with a great atmosphere.

We are a family of five, Louise Vida (38), Jacob (38), Loa Vida (9), Luc Anton (7) and Vic Anker (3), who love togetherness. That's why our little cottage is a great family retreat where we can enjoy each other's company, the raw and fresh nature and not least the silence. The obligatory trip down to the West Sea is a must, but for the kids, playing in the dunes and forest is almost even better. The large plantation north of the cottage is unique, and the beautiful moorland with free-range animals is really something special. We often take our bikes with us so we can get around the large plantation. The campsite's open-air swimming pool is great entertainment for the kids and in the plantation is the swimming lake, which is calmer and more child-friendly than the wild North Sea.
