In the village of Kittlitz on the Lauenburg lake district, she and her husband have created four vacation accommodations and event spaces in a former thatched-roof school country home that combine sustainability and design in the most beautiful way.
In this upstairs apartment, you'll be immersed in a stylish world of natural materials and soothing earth tones. The entire house is built exclusively from ecological materials. Among other things, wood, clay and stone were used. The furnishings consist mainly of plastic-free interiors such as glass, linen and metal. The modern furniture selected by Frederike is in perfect harmony with the old wooden beams and the partially open gable roof.
In addition to the very well equipped kitchen with its modern fronts and beautiful brass elements, the open living and dining area as well as two bright bedrooms with high-quality double beds and the modern designed shower bathroom offer enough space for up to four people. For the little guests is also provided with high chair and board games.
Enjoy your temporary home with a good book on the sofa, a game of table tennis in the large garden of the house or relax during a swimming trip, canoeing or a bike ride through the surroundings of the Lauenburg Lake District and the Schaalsee Biosphere Reserve.

The former school country home in beautiful Kittlitz immediately won us over with its charm, and in the thatched brick house we have created four vacation apartments with ecologically valuable interiors in a very extensive core renovation with energy-efficient construction. As an interior designer, I can let off steam to the full in this beautiful place and am ideally supported by my husband, who is overly talented in craftsmanship.
