Modern holiday home with farmhouse charm and private swimming pond

In the green Ammerland, on the city limits of Oldenburg, a modern vacation apartment with a sweeping view of nature awaits you on a Gerberhof farm built in 1918. The apartment was created in 2021 from the former stables, after the owners have renovated the farm in their own efforts and breathed new life into it. There are a total of two apartments on the farm, each with its own entrance.

The living space of about 55 m2 is on one level and can accommodate three adults or two adults and two children. In the open living area is the fully equipped kitchen with a dining table for up to four people. The large picture windows provide plenty of light and offer an uninterrupted view of the expansive garden. With a little luck you can watch deer lingering in front of the windows from time to time. For children, the sofa can be converted into a sleeping option in the evening. For small children, the hosts recommend bringing your own travel cot.

The bedroom has a comfortable 160x200cm box bed and a large closet. In summer, the terrace invites you to have breakfast outside. From here you can walk to the natural swimming pond to dangle your feet from the jetty or dip your whole soul into the deep water. The proximity to the city, but also to the North Sea offers you and your family varied leisure activities. In the nearby North Sea resort of Dangast you can enjoy extended beach days or stop by the old spa house for a piece of rhubarb pie.
