I am Stephanie and live with my husband and our daughter in Hamburg. Professionally, I work in the music industry, while my husband is a civil engineer specializing in wood and natural materials.
Living in the big city, we both dreamed of a retreat in the countryside near the Baltic Sea where we could spend time together in nature. We purchased the property from a local farmer, as we fell in love with the view of the paddock and dirt road right away.
My husband designed the house himself and implemented it with his timber construction company. Now we practically live in a long-distance relationship with the place - whenever we're not there, we miss it.
Behind the house on the wildflower meadow, a real children's paradise has been created with a trampoline and lots of space to play. We like to spend the evenings with friends on the terrace or in the garden at one of the many fire bowls - the starry sky is particularly good to see from here.
