In the heart of the cottage, the large living room, there's plenty of space and nooks and crannies where you can enjoy reading a good book, doing something creative or making delicious treats in front of an open window in the beautiful kitchen. Of course, you can also spend time together playing board games or chatting around the large dining table or enjoying the evening with a cup of tea, a plate of treats and the crackling fire in the wood-burning stove.
Out in the open air, you can explore the large grounds around the cottage or simply relax on one of the terraces, where there's always a good chance of finding a spot of shade or sunshine. Take a walk by the beach along Sælvigbugten Bay or hop on your bike and head out into the blue. Explore the delightful pearl of Samsø and fill your basket with freshly dug potatoes or fresh strawberries from the roadside stalls along the way, so you'll be stocked up for an al fresco dinner when you return to your holiday home.

We are Charlotte and Ulrich, and we bought our lovely holiday home in July 2022. The house is from the 1950s, and it has undergone a fairly major renovation, so we have ended up with the perfect holiday home, just as we wanted it. We have focused on preserving the things about the house that give it soul and coziness.
We love sitting in the large common room and reading a good book or enjoying the peace and quiet and the view of the beautiful nature that the cottage is located in the middle of. We love walking on the beach and in the forest, and we also enjoy visiting the many charming little towns around Samsø.
NOTE: until week 20 (2024) we can only guarantee 4 beds due to renovations. But after that, there is room for 6 guests, which is new.
