This charming former village school, built in 1870, combines history with modern living comfort. The exceptionally high ceilings (3.90 meters) and huge windows create an impressive atmosphere, which is further enhanced by elegant oak parquet flooring.
The tastefully furnished apartment offers two comfortable bedrooms with double beds, a modern bathroom, and a new, high-quality kitchen. In the spacious living room, a large dining table invites you to enjoy convivial evenings, while historic school maps on the walls tell stories of times gone by.
The enchanted garden with its old chestnut tree, rare service tree, and walnut tree offers various places to retreat. In spring, a blooming crocus meadow enchants, while the rhododendrons unfold their full splendor in May. From the south-facing terrace, you can enjoy the view of the park-like neighboring garden.
Tetenbüll is the perfect base for exploring the Eiderstedt peninsula. The famous beach at St. Peter-Ording is only 20 km away, and the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Wadden Sea is 13 km away. In the village itself, Café Theatrium spoils you with homemade cakes, while Haus Peters showcases local art and culture.
Tourism Fee not included
A Tourism Fee is a mandatory fee that you have to pay when visiting certain tourism areas in Germany. The fee is not included in the price because it depends on where you stay, how many nights you stay, how old you are and if you're bringing your dog. The fee usually varies between €0 and €4 per adult per night, but may be 5% in certain areas, such as Berlin. It should be settled with the host upon arrival.

Our family acquired this unique school building in 1978. For over thirty years, it was a popular gathering place for our extended family for summer parties and short vacations. Since 2017, we have lovingly renovated the house and completed the separate vacation apartment in 2024. We look forward to sharing the special atmosphere of this historic school with our guests.

What a wonderful place!
We were able to spend 10 days in Tetenbüllerbü and felt so comfortable in this light-filled, stylish, and cozy vacation home.
Everything is well thought out, furnished to a high standard, with oak flooring and many beautiful details, and immaculately clean.
Surrounded by greenery and wonderful tranquility, we were able to recharge our batteries wonderfully. Even the titmice visited us at the window every day.
